WrenchWay and ASE are very excited to announce the 3rd annual Voice of Technician Survey is now open!
About the Survey
The purpose of this survey is to gather feedback about what it’s like to work in the automotive, diesel, and collision industries and identify opportunities for improvement.
The survey covers:
- Important factors technicians consider when looking for a job
- Current satisfaction levels of technicians
- Where industry improvements can be made
- How shops and schools are working together
- What support schools need
The survey takes approximately 6–10 minutes to complete and is completely anonymous.
Last year, nearly 5,000 technicians, service professionals, instructors, and students responded, and we released the 2025 Voice of Technician Report summarizing the findings. We will plan on releasing a new, updated report in early 2026.
Who Can Participate?
We encourage anyone working in the automotive, diesel, or collision repair industry to participate, especially:
- Technicians currently working in the industry
- Instructors teaching automotive, diesel, or collision programs
- Students enrolled in a related program
Individual responses are anonymous.
