Cavender Auto Family has joined ASE Connects, enrolling all 16 of its locations across Texas and Oklahoma to help strengthen connections between local schools and the automotive industry.

By participating in ASE Connects, a joint initiative led by ASE & WrenchWay, Cavender is helping give local high schools and post-secondary programs greater access to the support and resources they need to educate and inspire the next generation of technicians.

“At Cavender, we believe in doing things the right way—what we call The Cavender Way,” said Theresa Aguilar, Sr. Recruiter at Cavender Auto Family. “That means making decisions that prioritize people, build trust, and create lasting relationships. Being part of ASE Connects allows us to extend that commitment to students and schools in our communities while helping support the future of our industry.”

Through ASE Connects, Cavender is bringing The Cavender Way philosophy to life by helping create more opportunities for students to explore and pursue careers in automotive.

“Building a strong technician pipeline starts with stronger connections between shops and schools,” said Jay Goninen, Co-Founder & President at WrenchWay. “Cavender Auto Family’s decision to enroll all 16 locations reflects a meaningful commitment to supporting students and helping create more opportunities at the local level.”

Through ASE Connects, local schools can connect directly with Cavender’s locations—giving instructors a simple way to share their needs and access support from a trusted industry partner.

As more organizations like Cavender get involved, ASE Connects continues to grow as a nationwide effort to ensure schools have the resources and industry connections needed to prepare the next generation of technicians.
